ConsistencyApril 17th, 2018
Followers of my twitter will know that I’m a big fan of football. What they might not know is that part of the reason I love football, and sport in general, is that I believe it can teach you a lot about life in general.
This came to mind today as I watched this interview with Jose Mourinho (current Manchester United manager). When questioned by a reporter on team selection, consistency and experience he replies:
“Consistency is not to do with age…it’s to do with personality” 👏🏽 https://t.co/YmfxSLkPMW

Consistency means doing something the same way over time. It means commiting to certain standards. It’s impacted by the decisions we make and the habits we cultivate.
Will you turn up to work on time each day? Will you have the right attitude each day? Will you be a positive influence on your team mates around you? Will you put the team goals ahead of your own? Doing these things consistently is part of your personality. It is important in football. And it is as important in your career and in life too.
